Dua
All praise is due to Allah the one who crafts creation in the most perfect order
in the most beautiful upright form the one who places things in the appropriate of
all places I send prayers and salutations on the one who was aided with the most
eloquent of all speech the speech and the prophet that are so distinct that appear
like a full moon in the middle of two clouds for the guidance of all manner of
creation and I send salutations on his family and his noble companions so long as
the days and nights come to pass Oh the Who eyes cannot behold in this world
Minds cannot comprehend his greatness People cannot praise him as he deserves
to be praised Situations do not change him He does not fear the passing of time
He Allah alone knows The exact weight of all the mountains in the world He Allah
alone knows the exact volume of all the oceans in the world He alone knows every
leaf that falls on every tree in this world He alone knows every drop of rain that falls
from the sky, One sky cannot shield another sky from him One layer of ground
cannot shield another layer of ground from him The mountains with its deep dark
caves cannot hide from him The oceans with its deepest depths cannot hide from
him O Allah to you belongs all praise you are the light of the heavens and the earth
and all those between them O Allah to you belongs all praise you are the sustainer
of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them O Allah to you belong all
praise you are the originator of the heavens and the earth and all that is between
them O Allah to you belongs all praise you are the truth Your promises true. Your
word is true the final hour is true the day we meet you is true So forgive us for what
this come to pass You have the power to do anything you will O Allah unto you we
have submitted in you we have believed upon you we have relied And to you we
turn in judgment And to you we turn in repentance O Allah I ask you for the best
affair The best life Best death The best reward Best deed The best knowledge The
best dua The best success O Allah I asked you for the highest position in paradise
Jannat ul Firdaus x3 O Allah I seek refuge in you from the hell fire x3 O Allah I am
your servant My mother is your servant My father is your servant My forelock is in
your hand Your command over me is forever executed Your decree over me is
just O Allah I ask you with every name belonging to you That which you name
yourself with Or revealed in your books Or taught to your creation Or only which
you know That you make the Quran the life of my heart And the light of my chest
And a departure for my sorrow And a release of my Anxiety Make the best of my life
the last of it Make the best of my actions the last ones Make the best of my days
the day I meet you O Allah Make my religion Straight for me, which my mainstream
of affairs Make this world straight for me, which is my temporary residence Make
the next life straight for me, which is my final destination Make my life an
opportunity to increase in virtue Make my death a release from all troubles and
tension Ease for me my torment in the grave Make the Quran for me a light a
guidance A mercy and an example Make me remember what I forgot Grant me its
recital throughout the night and day O Allah Guide us with those whom you have
guided Support us with those whom you have supported Protect us with those
whom you have protected Bless us in what you have given and Destined for us
Those you honored can never be humiliated Those you humiliated can Never be
honored I praise and thank you for everything you have given and destined for us I
seek your forgiveness o our Lord for all of our sins and mistakes and I repent to you
O Allah Place light in my heart Light my hearing Light in my sight Light to my left
Light to my right Light in front of me Light behind me Light above me Light below
me Enhance light for me Give me light in my grave Light on day of judgement
Shade on that day Increase my light for me Gift me with light upon light All praise is
due to Allah, the Merciful the beautiful the undisputed and uncontested. To you
belongs all praise that is plentiful pure and blessed. You are our Lord there is
nothing worthy of worship except you. To you belongs all praise and to you all
praise is due The lord of the days months and years The one who sees all and
hears all and blesses us with so much good the one who protected us from so
much harm the one who blesses us with Ramadan and revealed the quran the one
with the loftiest attributes and the most beautiful names the who remains our
highest objective and our greatest aim we thank you in abundance and praise you
in abundance and testify to your oneness and ask for the choicest praise
salutations and blessings upon the prophet Muhammad s.a.w. exalted are you the
responder to prayers exalted are you the one who hears all and knows all and picks
us up when we fall we ask you the asking of those who love you Oh Allah grant us
fear of you that will be a barrier between us and sin and grant us obedience of you
that will enter us into paradise and grant us faith that will lighten the weight of
calamities that befall us and allow us to be of sound sight hearing and strength as
long as we live and make our vengeance not transgress beyond those who oppress
us and give us victory over those who seek to harm us and don’t make our
problems in our religious commitment and expression and don’t make the dunya
the majority of our expertise or our obsession and don’t make our destiny the hell
fire and make paradise our destined destination and do not give authority over us
due to our sins those who won’t fear you or have mercy on us O Allah accept our
prayers, our fasting, our pilgrimages and our charity multiply its reward allow us to
see through trials with clarity we ask you for hearts filled with faith and bodies filled
with health limbs filled with obedience and hands filled with goodness we ask you
for near relief, beautiful patience and plenty of provision and independence from
anyone other than you make us those who remember you thank you and worship
you beautifully O Allah you have said call upon me and I will answer you here we
are extending our hands up to you we need you and you don’t need us we seek
your mercy and fear your anger you know what is in our hearts grant us our
requests guide us through our tests and make death the very best O Allah do not
make in this moment for us a sin except that it is forgiven and no worry except that
it’s relieved and no debt except that it is taken care of and no deceased except that
they experience mercy and no sick except that they are healed Oh Allah wipe over
the sick with your blessed healing hand we ask you to heal our hearts and make us
of those who have taqwa and advise other to have it and grant us a heart that fears
you as if it sees you until it meets you and we ask you for every goodness the
prophet Muhammad s.a.w. asked you for and we seek refuge in every evil the
prophet Muhammad s.a.w. sought refuge in you from we ask you for faith that does
not waiver and certainty that is not followed by disbelief we ask you for your bounty
and grace and for the pleasure of seeing your face and the longing to meet you Oh
Allah we are by our sins burdened and by our mistakes fatigued blinded by our
ignorance by our lust and greed we call upon you the calling of those humbled and
broken we are in need of your mercy and you are not in need of punishing us so
free us from the fire and our loved ones and our teachers and those who have
rights over us and our brothers and sisters free us all from the fire Oh Allah raise our
names to you Oh Allah conceal our faults above the earth and beneath it and
conceal them on the day we meet you make our inner selves better than the outer
selves and make our outer selves righteous O Allah we ask for the ability to love the
quran we ask you for the ability to believe in the quran and we ask you for the
ability to follow the quran and to implement the quran in our daily lives O Allah allow
us to see the truth in its true form and allow us to follow it and give us the ability to
see falsehood and give us the ability to avoid it we seek refuge in you from every
sin that is an obstacle between us and your mercy make faith beloved to us and
adorn it in our hearts and make us hate disbelief disobedience and transgression
Oh Jabbar fix our broken hearts bring families together that are apart fix our
relationships and plant love and mercy between us Guide our youth from the
dangers of heedlessness and extremism and give them a higher sense of purpose
and service and make them servants of their lord and servants of His Creation we
have come O Allah with sins unknown to all except you forgive our shortcomings
and mistakes the intended and unintended shaytan is our enemy leave none of us
undefended there is no honor that can be sought from any man or given to us by
any clan and so make us seek it through Islam make us wise in a world that’s
becoming more insane and merciful in a world that’s becoming less humane Oh
Allah rectify our leaders and our communities grant our leaders commitment to the
truth and wisdom in calling to it and unify our hearts let everyone beautifully play
their part grant the ummah confidence in its place in the world and confidence in
your religion cease our discord disunity dissension and division make us witnesses
to justice and its defenders make us champions of the poor and oppressed and
their protectors O Allah we complain to you of our weakness of our scarcity of
resources and the humiliation to which we are resigned O most merciful of those
who are merciful O lord of the weak and our lord too To whom have we been
assigned to enemies who receive us in hostility or to the near who over our affairs
you’ve given authority so long as you are not angry with us we do not mind but
your favor is of a more expansive relief we seek refuge in the light of your face by
which all darkness is dispelled and every affair of this world and the next is upheld
that your anger or your displeasure descend upon us we implore your pleasure until
you are pleased there is no power and might except by you Exalted are you O Allah
do not treat us based on our actions but treat us based on who you are have mercy
on our dead make their graves as spacious as their eyes can see make their graves
gardens from the gardens of paradise O Allah have mercy on them as they raised
us while we were young and reunite us with them in the highest company O Allah
make our accounting on the day of judgment easy and light and when people
receive their books in their left hands make us receive our books in our right hands
How patient are you with us O Allah we sin against you with the blessings you have
given us and you forgive We ask you in every name that you have raise our ranks
conceal our faults we have no helper other than you we are your slaves how many a
blessing have you given us and we were little in our thanks how many a test did you
give us and we were little in our patience how many a sin did you witness us
committing and you never exposed us O Allah we believe in you and we think the
best of you have mercy on this ummah you don’t reject those who ask you grant us
what we ask you O Allah we love you and we love those who love you have mercy
on those who love you and forgive those who love and overlook the faults of those
who love you and heal those who love you exalted is your lord the lord of might
over what they describe Oh Allah, the most magnificent, the most high, the most
merciful lord of the worlds help each and every believing brother & believing sister
from the Oppression & from the evil actions of the tyrants who oppress..Allah taala
your help is needed by the one who is being oppressed Oh Allah, bring that help
which was with our beloved Prophet s.a.w and his righteous Sahaabah's, that help
which was instant, victorious & in favour of the believers O Allah! Make my efforts
worthy of appreciation, and my sins forgiven, my deeds accepted, my flaws
concealed, O the best of those who Hear. O Allah! Bestow on me the blessings of
Laylatul Qadr, change my affairs from (being) difficult to (being) easy, accept my
apologies, and decrease for me [my] sins and burdens, O Allah! Open for me the
doors of Jannah, and lock the doors of Jahannam from me, help me to recite the
Qur'an, O the One who sends down tranquility into the hearts of believers. O Allah!
show me the way to win Your pleasure, do not let Shaytan have a means over me,
make Jannah an abode and a resting place for me, O the One who fulfills the
requests of the needy O Allah! the real luxury is that of the Hereafter. O Allah! keep
me alive as a humble person and make me die as a humble person and O Allah!
raise me along with the group of humble people. O Allah! cleanse my heart from
hypocrisy and my actions from show and my tongue from falsehood and my eyes
from cheating. And You know the theft of the eyes and concealment of hearts. O
Allah! I seek refuge with you from Your giving my record of deeds in my left hand or
behind my back. O Allah! Give my record of deeds in my right hand and take from
me an easy reckoning. O Allah! make me, among those who rely on You, from those
who You consider successful, and place me among those who are near to You, by
Your favour. O Allah! make me love goodness, and dislike corruption and
disobedience. O Allah! Beautify me with covering and chastity, cover me with the
clothes of contentment and chastity, let me adhere to justice and fairness, and keep
me safe from all that I fear, by Your protection, O the protector of the frightened. O
Allah! purify me from uncleanliness and dirt, make me patient over events that are
decreed, grant me the ability to be pious, and keep company with the good, by
Your help, O Allah! do not condemn me for slips, make me decrease mistakes and
errors, do not make me a target for afflictions and troubles, by Your honor, O the
honor of the Muslims. O Allah! grant me the obedience of the humble expand my
chest through the repentance of the humble, by Your security, O the shelter of the
fearful. O Allah! guide me towards righteous actions, fulfill my needs and hopes, O
One who does not need explanations nor questions, O One who knows what is in
the chests of the (people of the) world. Bless Muhammad (sallallahu alaiyhi
wassallam) and his family. O Allah! on this day, multiply for me its blessings, and
ease my path towards its bounties, do not deprive me of the acceptance of its
good deeds, O the Guide towards the clear truth. O Allah ! let me have mercy on
the orphans, and feed [the hungry], and spread peace, and keep company with the
nobleminded, O the shelter of the hopeful. O Allah! grant me a share from Your
mercy which is wide, guide me towards Your shining proofs, lead me to Your all
encompassing pleasure, by Your love, O Allah! do not let me abase myself by
incurring Your disobedience, and do not strike me with the whip of Your
punishment, keep me away from the causes of Your anger, by Your kindness and
Your power, O the ultimate wish of those who desire. O Allah! help and assist me to
keep fasts and salaah for Your Pleasure, and keep me away from mistakes and sins
of the day, grant me that I remember You continuously throughout the day, by Your
assistance, O the Guide of those who stray. O Allah! strengthen me in carrying out
Your commands, let me taste the sweetness of Your remembrance, grant me,
through Your Graciousness, that I give thanks to You. Protect me, with Your
protection and cover, O the most discerning of those who see O Allah! take me
closer towards Your pleasure, keep me away from Your anger and punishment,
grant me the opportunity to recite Your ayat (of the Qur'an), by Your Mercy, O the
most Merciful who show Mercy. O Allah! make my fasts, the fasts of those who fast
(sincerely), and my standing up in salaah, of those who stand up in salaah
(obediently), awaken me in it, from the sleep of the heedless, and forgive me my
sins , O Allah! the Sustainer of the worlds, O the One who forgives the sinners.
Forgive me. O Allah! Make me and my children of those who maintain salaah and
accept my duaa (supplication). O Allah! forgive me, my parents and all the believers
on the Day of Reckoning. O Allah! keep me alive as a Muslim and let me die as a
Muslim. I seek from You health and piety, security, good morals and willingness on
fate. O Allah! make me most grateful to You and to remember You in abundance
and act upon Your advice and to remember Your will. O Allah! I beg You for that
which incites Your Mercy and the means of Your forgiveness, safety from every sin,
the benefit from every good deed, success in attaining Jannah and deliverance
from the Fire. May Allah accept our prayers and ad’iyah O Allah o master o close
one O the one who gave us a living soul Who gave us life in this world O Allah who
fed us in our mothers wombs When we could not move The one who brought with
our limbs Our limbs that are sound the One who gave us the brain to think with The
one who taught us at school The one who gave us a tongue to talk with O one who
gave us eyes to see with O the one who gave us ears to listen with O the one who
gave us the tongue to taste with O Allah the more we grew in this earth The more
you showered us with gifts You clothed us when we were naked You fed us when
we were hungry You gave us water when we were thirsty In the night when we were
scared You took away our fear In the day when we had troubles you took away our
troubles When we came to a dead end you opened our pathway O Allah we have
family members as a gift You gave us shelter So many homeless people are
begging people You gave us shelter and a comfortable bed People worry about the
next meal But you gave us food to eat Some people walk miles to find water We
simply open a tap to drink water So many people have trouble walking When we
can run Some people are in hospital with illness So many are in accident and lying
dead So many you have taken from dunya O Allah I am ashamed to call out to you I
am ashamed to cry with these sinful eyes I am embarrassed to say these words in
front of you You gave me so many gifts again and again But I only used you gifts to
sin again and again O Allah while I sinned you watched But you still fed me and
gave me more wealth and you gave me extra health You still gave me water and
kept me clothed I sinned again and again and you covered me I sinned again and
you still loved me You did not take my eyesight away O Allah if you wanted you
could make me blind You could have made me deaf You could have put me in a
wheelchair You could have put me in my deathbed People have died in
earthquakes But how many have I survived How many hurricanes have I gone past
O Merciful Allah o Beloved Allah O kind Allah o forgiving Allah o caring allah O
Allah you love to forgive Who else would forgive sins except you Who else do I turn
to with a diseased heart No doctor can cure me No nurse can treat me No
president or friend can aid me La illah ha ila Allah x3 O Allah at your doors your
enemies came You gave them their hands full O Allah I am not your enemy I am
your servant asking for your mercy Do not turn away your servant If you turn me
away where will I go O Allah if you turn me away I swear by your name that I will
come back to you again and again O Allah I know you can punish me What will you
gain by punishing me and What will you lose by forgiving me What has that person
found that found everything but lost you What has that person lost that lost
everything but found you Allah Allah Allah O Allah When a child begs his
parents His parents eventually have mercy on him or her O Allah our Prophet s.a.w.
said that you are 70 times more merciful than our mothers O Allah remove the rust
from our hearts O Allah unblock our ears lift the veil from eyes O Allah give us
Barakah in our souls Make us see the truth in its true form Let us listen to tilawah
and enjoy it Let us enjoy zikr of yourself Give us the love of your remembrance O
Allah save us from the shaytan O Allah make us your friends O Allah raise our
status O Allah fill our businesses with Barakah O Allah free us of our
addictions Wash us cleanse us and bring us to pure life Place our books in our right
hands Take us straight to jannah If we cannot take handle the fire of this earth How
will we handle the fire of hell So give us jannah next to the messenger s.a.w. Re
unite all of us in jannah ul firdaus O Allah please grant me the one Who will be the
garment for my soul Who will satisfy half my deen In doing so will make me whole
Make them righteous and on your path In all they will do and say And sprinkle water
on me at fajr Reminding me to pray May they spend from within their means And
from halal sources May they seek your guidance always To fulfill all their
dreams May they always refer to Quran and sunnah As their moral guide May they
thank and appreciate you For the one at their side May they be conscious of their
anger And often fast and pray Be charitable and sensitive In every possible way
May they honor and respect me And please Allah! Make me worthy Of being their
loving spouse And finally Allah make them abundant in Love and laughter, in taqwa
and sincerity In striving for the hereafter O Allah grant all brothers and sisters With
such spouses O Allah, my heart yearns to beat in masjid al haram, my eyes want to
feast upon the sight of your Kaaba, my lips want to kiss hajar al aswad my hands
want to beg you with all your beautiful names my face wants to feel the gentle
breeze of Arafat my feet want to walk upon the blessed sands of arafah my body
wants to rest under the starry night sky of arafah my tongue wants to proclaim
labbayk allah humma labbayk labayk allah shareeklak labbay inal hamda wal nimata
lakla wal mulk la shareeklak my beloved rabb forgive us have mercy on us and bestow upon us your ibaadi the best of health wealth and tawfiq to be amongst the
hujjaj Ya malik invite us to your way keep on the straight path and allow us to walk
in the footsteps of Ibrahim a.s. Our master give us good in this world, good in the
next world, and save us from the fire Our master we have wronged ourselves if you
do not forgive us or have mercy on us we will be from the losers Our master make
us an establisher of salat and do the same for our parents our children and all
believers Our master have mercy on our parents just as they had mercy on us when
we were younger Our master gift us with coolness of the eyes from our spouses
and children and make us an imam Ul mutaqeen over future generations Almighty
on this blessed day we pray that you keep us on the straight path, Protect us from
being misled from all the lies and trickery of this world Show us the truth as truth
and allow us to follow it, and show us the wrong as wrong, and allow us to avoid it.
Almighty on this blessed day make us steadfast in our prayers and acts of worship
done solely for you. Grant us humility and submission always. Never showing off or
feeling that we are more pious than the person next to us Protect us from being
arrogant and never to judge others Almighty we pray for our parents and your
continuing care and protection in their old age as their strength declines we pray for
a greater sense of your presence and power grant them peace in their aging years
Almighty on this blessed day make us among the people of knowledge and raise us
among them on the day of Judgment Keep us away from ignorance and laziness
Forgive us our sins and keeps us on your straight path Almighty on this blessed day
give us strength to overcome difficulties we are dealing with now Protect us against
problems we may face in the future bring us together as we are meant to be may
the love that binds us grow stronger as we fulfill the destiny that you have laid out
for us Grant us forgiveness for the sins we have committed May we also forgive
one another as it is sometimes difficult to do so Almighty on this blessed day we
pray for all those who are sick and suffering we pray that with your mercy you will
heal them and guide them through their illness We also pray for their families and
that you keep their faith strong O Allah I ask you for all the good which is in the
present or in the future which I know and which I do not know O my Lord Truly I am
in need of whatever good you bestow on me Almighty on this blessed day help us
to not become hypocrites where we have one set of rules for ourselves and another
set for others help us to rid our hearts of all the bad traits as we are in the month of
Ramadan Almighty on this blessed day we pray for those with broken hearts and
broken lives bless them with healing change their circumstances lighten their load
give them peace of mind Almighty on this blessed day help us understand that we
should never put our happiness in someone else’s hand for it will bring
disappointment let us learn to trust you with all our affairs Almighty on this blessed
day let us never forget that our lives can end in a heartbeat young or old when it is
time to go I will go help us think of the day when we will meet you let us be
prepared Almighty on this blessed day may we seek solutions and comfort from
you instead of turning to this world in times of hardship pain and loss let us not
search for temporary comforts in people and worldly things make us among those
who seek help through patience and prayer Almighty on this blessed day we ask
you to hear words we do not utter but keep in our hearts help us to overcome the
hardships in our lives we know you will we trust you on this blessed day forgive us
and make us mindful of our own shortcomings instead of pointing fingers at others
Almighty you know our trials help us to remain patient through it all help us to
accept what you have willed you are the best planner Almighty on this blessed day
grant peace in our hearts many are suffering amidst chaos and confusion many are
drowning in their circumstances we need the strength and peace that only you can
give we need your guidance and protection Almighty grant us the ability to ponder
over and reflect on our connection with the sunnah of our Beloved Prophet s.a.w.
Almighty on this blessed day give us the courage to confront our weakness and the
conviction to stay firm to our faith despite the chaos in the world today reassure our
hearts that your everlasting mercy will see us through and it will all be okay in the
end Almighty on this blessed day we ask you to protect us from the evil eye and
from people who often pry into our personal lives especially those who do not wish
us well and want to see us fail Almighty on this blessed day when we start losing
hope or begin to doubt ourselves remind us that your plans are always better than
we could ever imagine Almighty help us embrace the trials you send our way we
know it is part of life and we have to accept them do not let the devil mess with our
minds making us hopeless and frustrated keep our faith strong Almighty grant ease
to those affected by the gruesome and senseless attack on innocent civilians all
throughout the world Almighty on this blessed day keep our faith strong even when
it seems that you are taking us the wrong way you can see things that we cannot
you are all knowing and the most wise Almighty on this blessed day let goodness
and your love and care follow me throughout my life strengthen me and let me not
falter amidst all the chaos in the world Almighty on this blessed day we ask you to
accept our deeds and repentance give us a good death and grant us your
everlasting love and care O Allah you slowly give power and kingdom to whoever
you will and you slowly remove power and kingdom from whoever you will you
slowly give strength and respect to whoever you will and you slowly remove
strength and respect from whoever you will in your hands is all good and you have
the power to do anything you will you slowly bring the night in to the day and you
slowly bring the day into the night you slowly bring the living from the dead and you
slowly bring the dead from the living and you give sustenance to whoever you will
without restriction so O Allah give me power, kingdom, strength, respect, and
sustenance without restriction O Allah I ask you for beneficial knowledge halal and
pure sustenance and actions that are accepted by you O turners of hearts turn our
hearts towards the deen O Allah open up my chest so I do not get nervous Make
my task easy for me Untie the knot from my tongue Enable me to speak clearly So
that people may understand me O Allah give strength to this umma wherever they
may be in the world Accept this from me Send peace and blessings upon the
prophet Mohammed his family his companions and his Ummah Jazallahu anna
Muhammadan sallalahualayi wasallama bimahuwa ahlu.
