The First Sentence: I ate too much chocolate

The Second Sentence: My tooth started hurting

The Third Sentence: The dentist gave me a filling

The words I, my, and me are the doer of the sentence

These three words are not interchangeable   

Doer is that someone or something is doing something

In the first sentence I am the doer in the sentence

In the second sentence the word tooth is the doer

In the third sentence the word dentist is the doer

Allah created the earth

The word Allah is an Ism and the earth is an Ism

The word Allah is the doer

The Messenger of Allah taught his companions

The Messenger is the doer

When you find a doer you call it Raf’

Now lets look at the detail of the act

  • When did it happen
  • How did it happen
  • Where did it happen
  • Who did it happen to

I ate an apple outside yesterday quickly

  • Ate an apple is the detail
  • Outside, yesterday, quickly, and out of hunger are all details

First you identify the act

Then you ask two questions

  • Who did act
  • Whoever did the act is Raf’

When, how, where, and with who you did the act with is the detail

Details are called Nasb

Apple, outside, yesterday, quickly, and out of hunger are all Nasb

The dentist gave me a filling

  • What is the act? Gave so it is a Fil or verb
  • Who did the act? The dentist so the dentist is Raf”
  • What did the dentist give? A filling so it is Nasb
  • Who did he give it to? Me so it is Nasb

I ate too much chocolate

  • What is the act? Ate which is a fil or verb
  • Who did the act? I which is Raf’
  • What did I eat? Too much chocolate which is Nasb

Raf’ = Doer of the act

Nasb = Detail of the act

Allah created the earth

  • What is the act? Created so it is a fil
  • Who did the act? Allah so the word Allah is Raf’
  • What did the word of Allah create? the earth which is Nasb

The Messenger of Allah taught his companions

  • What is the act? Taught so it is a fil
  • Who did the act? The messenger so it is Raf’
  • Who did the Messenger of Allah teach? companions so it is Nasb

Jarr is used after of

For these three sentences below the word after of is Jarr

The house of Allah

The religion of Islam

The son of Abdullah

Although the of is not always obvious like the example below

Allah’s House = the house of Allah

Abdullah’s son = the son of Abdullah

So you would rewrite it like it is shown above
