2. Surah Al Baqarah - Translation
- A. L. M.
- That is the book. There is absolutely no doubt in it. Guidance! For the cautious.
- Who believe in the unseen, establish a connection with Allah through Salah, and only out of what We have provided them, they spend.
- And those who believe in whatever was sent to them and whatever was sent much before them and especially in the afterlife they have absolute and unshaken conviction as if they can see it and experience it.
- Those people are committed to guidance and those people are the reapers of success.
- Indeed as for those who disbelieve it is all the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them they will never believe.
- Allah has permanently sealed their hearts and their hearing and over their eyes is a covering and for them is a great punishment.
- And from among people someone says we have believed in Allah and even in the last day. No! They are not believers at all.
- They attempt to deceive Allah and those who believe. They don’t deceive anyone except themselves. They don’t realize at all.
- There is a disease in their hearts. So Allah increased them in sickness. They have a constantly painful punishment BECAUSE THEY USED TO LIE.
- And when it is said to them do not create corruption in the area they say we are actually reformers.
- Listen up! No doubt they they are the corrupters. However they don’t realize.
- And when it is said to them believe just as other people have believed they say we should believe just as the fools have believed Listen up! It is they who are the fools and they know it not.
- And when they casually meet those who believe they say we believe but when they are seeking solitude heading towards their devils they say we are just kidding we are so totally with you.
- Allah in fact He is making mockery of them He extends them in their terrible rebellion as they remain spiritually blind.
- Those are the ones who have purchased misguidance at the cost of guidance. Thus their trade did not produce any benefit at all. No! They weren’t those committed to guidance at all.
- Their example is something like the example of someone who tried to light a fire and when it illuminated whatever surrounded him Allah removed their light and He left them in multiple layers of darkness not being able to see.
- Deaf! Mute! Blind! Therefore they are not the ones coming back.
- Or a dark persistent cloud from above that has shades of darkness, thunder, and lightening in it They place their fingers in their ears because of the thunder bolts as a precautionary measure from fear of death and Allah has the disbelievers surrounded.
- Lightening almost snatches away their vision every time it lights the way they walked in it when it becomes dark over them they stand still had Allah wanted He would have taken away their hearing and their seeing No doubt Allah is over all things completely capable.
- People! Be enslaved to your Master the one who created you and those much before you so that you may hopefully protect yourselves.
- The one who furnished the earth for you as a comfortable floor spread out for you and what lies above as a firm structure and from the sky and from above He sent down water and He provided and brought out through it all kinds of fruits do not furnish any rival for Allah while you people know very well.
- And if you were to be in any doubt about what We progressively sent down onto our slave come forward with a surah in any way near an equal to it and call your expert witnesses as opposed to Allah if you happen to be truthful.
- So if you haven’t been able to do so and you will never be able to do so then go ahead and protect yourselves from the fire whose fuel is people and stones. It has been prepared for disbelievers.
- And You O Prophet congratulate the believers who do a handful of good deeds they have gardens at the very bottoms of which rivers flow every time they are provided from them any fruit it was brought to them as something resembling and only in those gardens will they have purified spouses and they will abide therein eternally.
